Dear Factor Community,
We’re proud to share that FACTOR has been officially invited to sponsor and present at CyberWeek@LAC4 2025, hosted by the European Union’s CyberNet programme in partnership with Estonia’s Information System Authority (RIA). This flagship event will take place November 17–20 in Santo Domingo, uniting over 150 cybersecurity leaders, CSIRTs, policymakers, and researchers from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Our mission, to make cryptographic integrity a public good, is now being recognized on the global stage.
At CyberWeek, we’ll lead a live mini-lab on Proactive Crypto Resilience: showing governments, universities, and CSIRTs how to find weak keys before adversaries do, using open, reproducible methods on the FACTOR network.
This is more than visibility.
It’s a signal: the world is ready to move from reactive defense to proactive mathematics.
A Moment to Support the Mission
To make this possible, we’re raising $10,000 USD to:
Cover sponsorship and travel for CyberWeek@LAC4,
Support Rhubarb Media's (Chad Ballantyne) continued work in our brand and marketing evolution,
Maintain and upgrade the servers, nodes, and services that keep the network alive,
Every contribution — large or small — fuels the infrastructure and vision behind a useful Proof-of-Work that turns global compute into a tool for truth.,
If FACTOR has inspired you, if you’ve seen its potential to reshape cryptography, now is the time to take part.
Contribute here: To raise $10k USDT we will be selling OTC 2K FACT coins at 5 USDT per coin. Please DM @ Escanor (Discord) to support the project.
Special Thanks
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Roberta Faux for her extraordinary outreach across Latin America, the European Union, and private-sector institutions. Her dedication is opening the doors through which FACTOR’s message is now entering the rooms where the future of cybersecurity is being written.
Let’s make this milestone count.
Let’s show the world that the next era of digital trust — the era of useful computation — begins here.
More about the event:
CyberWeek will bring together approximately 150 carefully selected participants from across the LAC CSIRT community; LAC4 is the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre . While the audience is primarily technical, each country’s delegation typically also includes a policy-level representative (usually from ICT ministries).
This will be the 4th edition of CyberWeek @LAC4, which has become one of the region’s most recognised annual CSIRT capacity-building highlights.
